Knowing where someone worked can open a historical investigation into departments, systems, equipment, trades, contractors, maintenance periods and surviving records. It does not by itself establish exposure.
Build the historical picture
Place & time
Facility name, historical names, location, operating period, ownership and the years the person was there.
Department & process
Boiler house, turbine hall, machine shop, maintenance department, production area or other remembered work area.
People & tasks
The person's own work plus nearby trades, contractors, shutdown crews and maintenance personnel.
Equipment & materials
Machines, steam systems, pumps, valves, boilers, piping, insulation, gaskets, packing and other remembered materials.
Records
Engineering drawings, specifications, purchase orders, outage logs, manuals, union records, employment records and witness histories.
Evidence status
Separate documented relationships from reported history, possible leads and questions that still require investigation.
